Hochokas are Cherokee healing circles. All are invited to come and share stories, song, and ceremony. We host one circle each month. We ask the question “How can we be healing for each other?” Bring yourself, your ability to listen and your heart. Join us to experience the healing power of deep listening in community.
Each circle begins with a poem or song, and is followed by a traditional talking circle. Cherokee Bodywork often accompanies the talking circle and you can receive, give, make music, or participate in whatever capacity feels appropriate for you.
These circles are by donation and open to all. Bring a pot-luck item to share for dinner after the circle.
If you would like to join our circle please call or email Jenn at 917-676-5438 / sukhasala@gmail at least one day in advance. Let us know if you are coming alone or bringing a friend and what nourishing food dish you plan to contribute.
Please check out the events page for more info on the upcoming circle.
